Meetings Media attended the official opening of the MGM MIRAGE’s CityCenter Dec. 16.
Some of the many highlights included a preview of the new Viva Elvis show from Cirque du Soleil at the Aria Hotel. Ex-wife and entrepreneur Priscilla Presley was on hand to introduce the show.
“Elvis would be pleased that he’s back in Las Vegas again‑-as he should be presented,” she said.
The show is presented in a theater decked out in deep ruby red tones with sofa seating. The $40 million of art installations was also one of the big highlights. Art tours led by an on-site curator will be available for groups meeting at CityCenter.
