Bob Marx was named president and CEO of the Peoria Area CVB.
Marx is currently general manager of the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Gadsden, Ala., and has extensive industry experience in advertising and marketing, hotel operations and directing and managing. He starts his new job Feb. 1.
Marx has served as president and CEO of the Bakersfield [Calif.] and sales manager of San Jose, Calif.’s CVB.
