The historic Hotel Georgia will reopen in early 2011 as the Rosewood Hotel Georgia after an extensive renovation.
The property will feature 154 guest rooms and suites, a spa, a fitness center, an indoor swimming pool, a nightclub and the Hawksworth Restaurant. The restaurant will feature a menu reflecting regional, seasonal ingredients with a Vancouver-Asian twist.
The hotel, which originally opened in 1927, has welcomed Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole, Katherine Hepburn and British royals.
