Annapolis Anne Arundel County CVB and the Newport & Bristol County CVB formed a partnership to attract group business.
The two bureaus will host joint invitation-only luncheons for more than 100 meeting planners in Washington, D.C., and Alexandria, Va., at the end of March. Both events will feature a tradeshow with hospitality industry partners from both destinations networking and discussing future meetings with the planners in attendance.
“Everyone in the meetings industry is under pressure to do more with less,” said Tim Walsh, vice president of sales for the Newport & Bristol County CVB.
Both bureaus are exploring other options to further this special collaboration.
