Frank Poe was selected as the new executive director of the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) Authority here.
Poe is a 38-year convention center veteran. He is leaving his position as the head of the Dallas Convention Center and will start his new job April 1. The 3.9 million-square-foot GWCC is one of the largest multipurpose event and entertainment complexes in the U.S.
