Renovation work on the historic Roxy Hotel here is slated to begin next month and is expected to be completed by the end of fall.
The Cape Vincent Local Development Corp. was awarded a Restore New York grant in September to help developer Michael A. Treanor convert the 116-year-old building, at Broadway and Market streets, into a year-round hotel.
The plan also calls for the renovation of the 2,726-square-foot restaurant and bar on the first floor, the hotel lobby, as well as 700 square feet of space for boutiques adjacent to the lobby.
