The Moenkopi Legacy Inn & Suites, the first hotel to be built on Hopi tribal land in 50 years, opened April 27. The 100-room hotel, which is designed in traditional Hopi style, offers a conference center for up to 160 people, an outdoor events plaza, a salt water swimming pool, a business center and 16 specialty suites.
Located adjacent to Tuba City, the hotel’s décor, including bedding, carpets and artwork reflects Hopi culture. Private guided tours to Hopi villages, craft demonstrations and entertainment can be arranged for groups.
