The Illinois General Assembly passed legislation aiming to change operations at Chicago’s McCormick Place.
Among other reforms, the bill allows exhibitors to do their own electrical work or contract it out as well as bring in their own food. Gov. Pat Quinn is expected to sign the legislation in the near future.
