The Greenbrier’s planned new casino will double in size and quadruple in cost.
The 102,000-square-foot casino is scheduled to open July 2 at a cost of $80 million. Original plans had the casino at 50,000 square feet with a $20 million price tag. Given the larger space, the number of new employees that will need to be hired has jumped from 1,600 to 2,000.
