The hotel, The Henry, formerly the Ritz-Carlton Dearborn, will become part of the Autograph Collection by Marriott, a group of upscale independent hotels.
The Henry will join an initial group of eight Autograph by Marriott hotels across the country, and will be the second Midwest destination in the Autograph by Marriott portfolio. A multimillion-dollar renovation is planned for The Henry, which is named for famous Henrys throughout history, such as Henry James, Henry Ford and Henry David Thoreau.
