Florida Gov. Charlie Crist established the Gulf Oil Spill Economic Recovery Task Force to help the state’s businesses and industries recover lost revenues due to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
Goals of the task force include gathering all appropriate state resources and leadership to ensure a coordinated response; providing updates on the state’s beaches and waters in a timely manner; and assessing, measuring and reporting on all economic loss data and trends.
