The Hyatt Regency Newport recently underwent a redesign of the hotel and spa and is focusing on activities for its guests with the recent appointment of a “Director of Fun.”
Daniella Giorgio was named as the hotel’s activities director. In her new role, Giorgio coordinates an array of new onsite diversions for all ages and abilities. Scheduled activities include water aerobics in the hotel’s outdoor pool, yoga on the spa deck, organized volleyball matches on the Great Lawn, wine tasting and mixology sessions, watercolor painting lessons and “Sundae Sunday” ice cream socials. Evenings fund includes s’mores made by the fire at the North Lawn Fire Pit and outdoor movies.
Giorgio previously served as an event coordinator for HallKeen Management, a real estate management firm in nearby West Warwick.
