Portland’s new 4-T Trail walking route offers visitors an overview of the city, from its urban core to scenic natural areas.
Named for Portland’s (aerial) Tram, (MAX light rail) Train, (Portland Streetcar) Trolley and (accessible urban) Trails, the route meanders through the urban core and nearby natural areas. The journey can begin anywhere along the self-guided route, but ultimately takes walkers from Portland’s highest point at Council Crest to its lowest at the Washington Park MAX station.
Along the way, visitors will see Portland’s “Living Room” at Pioneer Courthouse Square, the Aerial Tram’s sweeping views of Mount Hood and downtown Portland, the Oregon Zoo and the Portland Art Museum.
