Salt Lake City’s Salt Palace Convention Center is installing what is believed to be the nation’s largest rooftop solar array, with plans for completion in January.
The 600,000-square-foot installation—larger than six football fields—is expected to generate about 25 percent of the energy used annually at the convention center.
