PCMA plans to co-locate its 2011 International Summit with IMEX America, a new trade show for the meetings and incentive industry, when it takes place in October of next year at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas.
According to a statement from the organization, PCMA aims to attract 150 “top association and corporate meeting planners” to next year's International Summit, scheduled for Oct. 13-14, all of whom will attend IMEX America, scheduled for Oct. 11-13, as part of the trade show's hosted buyer program. Approximately 50 PCMA supplier members are also expected to attend.
According to PCMA President and CEO Deborah Sexton, the co-location of the International Summit and IMEX America will create one of the most powerful hosted buyer events in North America.
"PCMA members play an important and influential role in the international marketplace and the co-location of PCMA's International Summit with IMEX America will provide attendees with new and cutting-edge solutions to the challenges they face in conducting business globally, while offering a unique opportunity to network, make appointments, and conduct business with exhibitors and attendees from around the globe,” she said.
