Vail Resorts closed on its acquisition of the Northstar-at-Tahoe in North Lake Tahoe, Calif., which includes a base village and The Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe.
Vail Resorts, which also operates the Heavenly Mountain Resort in South Lake Tahoe, plans to offer passes and lift tickets offering access to both resorts in time for the 2010-2011 ski season.
