McCormick Place Launches New Reforms

Chicago’s McCormick Place has announced Phase II of a reform process designed to lower costs and provide more flexibility for events held at the convention facility.

The Phase II reforms will include free Wi-Fi throughout the facility, a more competitive model for hiring electrical service providers and permission for exhibitors to bring in food from outside sources for consumption by employees.

A 23-member advisory council that includes show organizers and exhibitor contractors has been created to oversee the new reforms.
