Chicago’s first JW Marriott hotel opened Nov. 11 in architect Daniel Burnham’s historic Continental & Commercial National Bank Building in the Financial District.
The 610-room hotel occupies the first 12 floors of the building, which underwent a $396 million restoration. The hotel includes 44,000 square feet of meeting space, including a ballroom with Burnham’s original domed ceiling.
There is also a full-service spa, two restaurants and a Virtual Meetings by Marriott system featuring Cisco TelePresence technology.
