Legislation has been introduced in the Illinois state senate to allow for additional casinos in the state, including one in Chicago, either on Lake Michigan or on land, that would have up to 4,000 gaming positions.
Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn is among those opposed to casino expansion in the state.
