The Capella Telluride, a luxury condo hotel in Telluride, Colo., is in receivership and scheduled to close Jan. 31.
According to a statement from Capella Resorts, the property has been unable to pay its construction debt because none of its condo units have been sold. Opened two years ago, the hotel is the first in the new Capella brand created by Horst Schultze, co-founder of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co.
