Milwaukee’s city council voted to approve plans for a $50 million Marriott that would be the first full-service, nationally franchised hotel to open in downtown Milwaukee, Wis., since 1988.
Developers plan to start construction on the 200-room hotel this spring, with completion expected to take 18 months to two years.
