Frustrated by ongoing conflicts between the owner and lender involved in a reorganization dispute over the former Hilton Pittsburgh, a U.S. bankruptcy judge said he will appoint a trustee to step in and oversee operations at the downtown hotel now known as the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh.
Judge Jeffrey A. Deller said the dispute between the hotel owner, Shubh Hotels Pittsburgh LLC, and the lender, BlackRock Financial Management, over control of the hotel has grown so contentious that a “neutral” operator is required.
