Construction started on Baha Mar Resort, a 1,000-acre, $3.4 billion resort that is the largest in the history of the Bahamas.
The resort will include four hotels with a total of 2,250 guest rooms and a 200,000-square-foot convention center. The hotel brands to be represented include Morgans, Rosewood and Hyatt.
