The Embassy Suites Houston Downtown is up and running, becoming the first hotel in Houston to pursue LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
The 262-room hotel, which has 6.000 square feet of meeting space, offers such features as “smart switches” that automatically turn off lights when a guest leaves the suite and recycling/conservation programs.
