Gov. Plans to Increase Wis. Tourism Budget

Speaking at the Governors’ Conference on Tourism at the Kalahari Resort, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker told the audience that he plans to increase the state’s marketing budget for tourism by more than 10 percent this year and by more than 20 percent in 2012-13.

The state currently spends $9/9 million a year to promote tourism.
