While hotel rates remained flat in 2010, airfares increased by 7 percent and, with rising fuel prices, are continuing to climb, according to a recent Business Travel Monitor report from American Express Business Travel.
The report also noted that negotiated corporate hotel rates are expected to show high single to double digit increases during 2011 in key business destination cities.
