Six Starwood hotels in Oahu, Maui and Kauai reached a tentative, three-year contract agreement with Unite Here Local 5, which represents 2,800 workers who have been without a contract since June.
The agreement, which affects the Sheraton Kauai, Sheraton Waikiki, Moana Surfrider, Royal Hawaiian, Sheraton Princess Kaiulani and Sheraton Maui, preserves health coverage, increases employer pension contributions and offers a wage increase retroactive to July 1.
