Following a $385 million renovation, San Francisco International Airport’s newly reopened Terminal Two became the first airport terminal in the nation to achieve LEED gold status from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Along with recycled construction materials and energy-efficient practices, the terminals offers sustainable foods in its dining outlets, which include a new restaurant operated by celebrity chef Tyler Florence.
The terminal is the hub for Virgin America and also houses American Airlines.
