In partnership with a New York developer, Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority plans to open a $600 million casino and horse racing resort on the site of the Concord Hotel, once a popular destination in upstate New York’s Borscht Belt.
Construction is set to start in June, with opening projected for spring 2013. The project will include a 258-room hotel, casino, racetrack, restaurants and 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
