The Mississippi Gaming Commission ordered Rainbow Casino and DiamondJacks Casino in Vicksburg, Miss., to close in preparation for rising river waters, and is monitoring two other Vicksburg casinos, Amerstar and Riverwalk, which remain open.
High waters have already closed nine casinos in Tunica, Miss., as well as casinos in Greenville and Natchez. So far no serious flood damage to the properties has been reported.
