U.S. hotel transactions this year reached $4.9 billion through May, triple the volume recorded last year during the same period, according to a survey report by Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels.
The report also noted an upswing in hotel values, with the average single transaction coming in at $84 million, double what it was during the first five months of last year.
