A proposed Hard Rock casino resort for Atlantic City, N.J., took a giant step closer to reality when the city council cleared a major redevelopment hurdle for the planned $275 million, 850-room property.
The first phase of the Hard Rock, which would include a 200-room hotel, is targeted for an opening in spring 2014.
