Hotel Bel-Air Set for October Return

Los Angeles' renowned Hotel Bel-Air is set to show off the improvements of its latest major upgrade next month.

The iconic hotel has been a longtime favorite to the stars and is well-known for its Spanish Colonial architecture and iconic pink façade. And the new interior design, the brainchild of Alexandra Champalimaud and the Rockwell Group, has thoughtfully transformed the property's elegance for the current era.

Among the changes are a dozen new apartment-like rooms with panoramic canyon vistas and outdoor decks, and three open-plan loft guestrooms adjacent to the expansive Spa by La Prairie in a newly constructed Spanish Missions-designed complex. The total number of rooms and suites at the hotel has been raised to 103, and the restaurant has been taken over by star chef Wolfgang Puck, who intends to showcase modern Californian cuisine enriched with creative European and Mediterranean flavors.
