New Boutique Gives Groups a Good Taste of the Big Apple

NEW YORK, NY

A new boutique hotel on Manhattan’s East Side will give groups the chance to meet in the heart of midtown. The property, located on Lexington Avenue and 48th Street and featuring 116 suites and salons, includes four boardrooms that can host up to 12 guests for meetings or executive retreats.

All meeting rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and access to the Alcove, a space for relaxing or taking phone calls, and Lexicon Lounge, the hotel’s lounge, all on the same floor. In addition to three meals daily, the lounge offers nightly wine-and-cheese tastings for all guests, a collection of coffee table books to read; and iPads® for guests to borrow.  Lexicon Lounge also will host events such as book signings and fashion previews.

Each guestroom features a butler's pantry with treats beyond traditional minibar fare, including wines like Marcarini Barolo Brunate and Terrabianca Campaccio which are also served in Lexicon Lounge - each available for sampling by the half-bottle. The butler's pantry is stocked with locally sourced snacks, including Brooklyn Beer and Zico Water, Jacques Torres Chocolate Covered Marshmallows, Dean and Deluca Hickory Smoked almonds, and North Fork potato chips.

A pair of dramatic penthouse suites will open later this fall, each with terraces providing skyline views. The hotel’s spa includes wine-inspired treatments, such as the two-hour "UnKnot" as well as massages, manicures, and facials.
