Antioch Hotel & Suites Announces New Ownership and A Complete Renovation

ANTIOCH, IL

The Antioch Hotel & Suites is undergoing a major renovation, remodeling and rebranding as a full-service Best Western Plus hotel.  The renovation and rebranding will be complete in early 2012. 

The renovation includes all 68 guestrooms and suites as well as the hotel’s lobby space, the indoor/outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, the addition of a state-of-the-art brand new exercise room, and new mixed-use meeting and banquet space located off of the main lobby that features a cathedral ceiling and windows.  The hotel lounge is also undergoing a complete revitalization and will reopen as Fox’s, named for the river that connects the areas lakes. The new Fox’s will include the addition of a 2000- square foot outdoor patio with enhanced services, as well as an all-season fireplace with fiber optic lighting and water features.  Overlooking the lake, Fox’s will serve a wide array of beverages and dining selections.

Guests at the hotel have complimentary wireless access.  The hotel, which is under new management, is in the heart of Lake County, Ill., overlooking Lake Antioch.  It is in close proximity to Chain O’ Lakes State Park, the Port of Blarney, and the area’s many other recreational facilities.  It is less than a one hour drive from both downtown Chicago and Milwaukee.
