The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Austin just debuted renovated guest rooms along with new signage and new amenities. Guests will find 188 upgraded suites at the now 100 percent smoke-free hotel featuring new soft goods, fully refreshed kitchens, updated furniture and new high-definition televisions.
For travelers who suffer from allergies or asthma, the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Austin also created an entire floor of 21 PURE rooms, which provide an allergy-friendly environment that removes up to 98 percent of bacteria and viruses.
Additional steps in the renovation will include enhancements to the hotel entrance; lobby and public areas; front desk check-in; and meeting and event spaces as well as an expansion of the gift shop and business center. The hotel’s 15th Street Café, serving American and Southwestern cuisine, will also undergo a modernization with the addition of a lounge and patio.
