LAKE TAHOE, Calif.
The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino, in Lake Tahoe, has announced a $20 million renovation plan that includes the property’s 422 guestrooms and suites, the Sierra Café and the Spa Terrace Conference Center. The property expects to complete the renovations by Apr. 30, 2012.
“With these extensive refreshments to the resort, we are fulfilling our vision of a truly unique mountain respite at Tahoe, one that genuinely captures the region’s pristine natural beauty,” said Fred Findlen, general manager of Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino. “Great attention has been paid to creating an authentic sense of place by weaving in warm colors and natural materials inspired by the lake and the Sierras. These details, combined with a new, contemporary design and state-of-the-art amenities, create a Tahoe experience unlike any other.”
The new guest rooms will feature what the property describes as a “Grand Lodge” feel, while the redesigned Sierra Café will feature more contemporary décor and a chef's table for private events. The Spa Terrace Conference Center will boast an updated audiovisual system with an improved sound system and drop-down screens.
