M Resort is adding 25,000 square feet to its convention space. The new space, which will be able to accommodate 2,300 people, is expected to open Jan. 1.
Meeting planner customers have requested space beyond the current 60,000-square-foot convention facility, says M Resort president Anthony Marnell. "This shows the demand we've had for convention business. The facility is going to give us a lot more flexibility."
M Resort, which opened in March 2009, has 390 guest rooms, a 92,000-square-foot casino and seven restaurants.
