LAKE TAHOE, Calif.
RMC, a destination management and special events company with six operations in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming moved west with the addition of its seventh operation, the new Lake Tahoe, California/Nevada operation. The addition of this new division dovetails with RMC recently being tapped to serve as the exclusive destination service provider partner for the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe, located mid-mountain at Northstar California.
"The skiing in Lake Tahoe is some of the best in the United States, and the lake offers a one-of-a-kind experience for the groups and meetings we host," says Nathan Boyd, president of RMC. The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe is a ski-in/ski-out property at Northstar California that features 170 guest rooms and 15,000 square feet of function space.
RMC brought in two new staff members to run the RMC Lake Tahoe operation. Christopher Oliphant, director of national accounts and sales, and Andrea Emerson, operations manager, are both originally from the area.
