Planners of small meetings or incentive programs will be excited to hear that a new property is coming to this former military post. Slated to be the only new hotel opening in the City by the Bay next year, the Inn at the Presidio will feature 22 rooms, 17 of which are suites.
Housed in the former bachelor’s quarters of the post, the Inn—though small—will have much to offer groups when it opens in April. The Presidio, a national park site, features meeting facilities and it’s within walking distance of the Marina District and Sacramento Street, which both provide shopping, restaurants, galleries and bars.
The Presidio also has numerous recreational amenities, including a golf course, YMCA gym/indoor pool, urban spa, fitness/Pilates/yoga studio, indoor rock-climbing studio, trampoline park, bowling and hiking and biking trails.
