What service can you provide to groups that they normally might not receive?
I think that we provide a more professional/caring and experienced team and are able to help guests have a memorable experience in San Francisco. We have three concierges on our team, with a total of over 60 years concierge experience in S.F.
What are your bar or nightclub recommendations?
Top of the Mark of course and the Comstock bar in North Beach are great bars. Clubs are always a little difficult to recommend depending on the guest but Ruby Skye is very good and close to the hotel. Also, Mezzanine, Slide and the Supper Club are fun places.
Can you recommend a good place to take a stroll?
Walk along Crissy Field in the Presidio, beautiful bay views and the Golden Gate Bridge.
Are there any quirky places we should check out?
The Valencia Street neighborhood from 16th to 20th Streets is filled with small restaurants, bars and unusual shops, funky, interesting and vibrant.
A party of 12 wants to have dinner right away. What restaurant can accommodate last-minute requests of this size?
I’m thinking Italian first choice as we have many restaurants to recommend such as Fior d’Italia, Palio d’Asti and Allegro Romano are some my favorites.
What’s a unique event that has taken place at your property?
October has been “wedding “ month; we have had a total of seven weddings to date in the hotel, as well as over 12 other wedding party rooms blocks where the event was off property.
