What service can you provide to groups that they normally might not receive?
The Seagate Hotel & Spa is able to organize team building activities such as volleyball, paddle boarding and kite boarding lessons, Segway tours of Delray Beach or a scavenger hunt. Hands on cooking classes with Executive Chef Adam Gottlieb in Atlantic Grille provide an opportunity to create some of the signature dishes, then enjoying those dishes, paired with wine.
What are your bar or nightclub recommendations?
Il Bacio and Deluxe are the two night clubs in Delray Beach but travelers will also find the downtown area has a variety of pubs and lounges. The Seagate Hotel & Spa’s in-house performer Orson Whitfield plays at Jellies Bar and several other establishments offer live entertainment ranging from classic rock to an Elvis impersonator.
Can you recommend a good place to take a stroll?
Delray Beach is an enjoyable place to explore with its shops, art galleries and cafes all within a one mile radius. The area is a combination of a beach town and sophisticated village. The Seagate Hotel & Spa is also fortunate to be just steps from the beach so our guests can walk along the shore collecting shells.
Are there any quirky places we should check out?
Hand’s is a unique store in which half the store is dedicated to stationery and art supplies and the other half offers several Florida themed gifts such as artwork, crafts and souvenirs.
What is an unusual request from a group you’ve had?
We arranged a group surf lesson at The Seagate Beach Club, a private members-only club with which we have guest privileges.
A party of 12 wants to have dinner right away. What restaurant can accommodate last-minute requests of this size?
The Wine Room at the Atlantic Grille can accommodate a party of 12 but if they want to venture in town we have established a solid relationship with several of the local restaurateurs in which we can find a table for your group. The Seagate Beach Club also offers an ideal location for small parties to enjoy ocean front dining, with two Dining Rooms, last-minute requests are often easily accommodated.
What’s a unique event that has taken place at your property?
A luxury car brand held a press only preview of vehicles before they were introduced to the U.S market. The Seagate Hotel & Spa was chosen because of its location to an abundant amount of scenic driving routes .
