A well-staffed concierge desk versus typical front desk staff not very familiar with wineries, restaurants and the Valley is unique to Silverado in making guests experiences more personal; On-site Destination Management Service; Destination Management packages that include all costs billed to the Master Account (transportation, entertainment, F&B, gratuities, taxes).
What are your bar or nightclub recommendations?
Morimoto’s is the happening bar in the Valley; Bottega is up there as places to go for locals or tourists; Silo’s provides live music, a wine bar and appetizers Thursdays through Saturdays. Hurley’s is a place to enjoy a cigar on the patio.
Can you recommend a good place to take a stroll?
Downtown Napa – the River Walk; and St. Helena – Main Street.
Are there any quirky places we should check out?
A visit to Carlo Marchiori’s Villa Ca’Toga in Calistoga is a must; Di Rosa Preserve; Clos Pegase Winery; the Quixote Winery.
What is an unusual request from a group you’ve had?
After a natural accident I had to help a group get back to various parts of California without crossing any bridges. They were frightened the bridge would fall down.

A party of 12 wants to have dinner right away. What restaurant can accommodate last-minute requests of this size?
Though never a certainty on weekends, Brix, Hurleys and Etoile usually are able to accommodate larger parties at the last minute. Also, Tra Vigne, and Coles Chop House.
What’s a unique event that has taken place at your property?
Because of Silverado’s unique property, it has been the home of the Senior PGA tournament in the past and I expect it will be again. Wine Blending; grape-stomping; Fashion Shows; Fireworks; Mixology Seminar (cocktail blending instruction).
