After taking over management of Chicago's McCormick Place convention center, SMG named its new senior mangement team.
Adrienne Tiritilli was promoted to assistant general manager – sales and services, where she will continue to serve as liaison with the Chicago Convention & Tourism Bureau.
SMG-veteran Joseph Scheper was named assistant general manager – finance and administration. Scheper previously served in SMG headquarters in Philadelphia as executive director of finance.
Lastly, Ryan Thorpe was appointed McCormick Place’s director of facilities. Bringing 18 years of facility operations management, Thorpe will oversee engineering, maintenance, contracted services, security and short-term capital projects. He most recently worked as director of operations at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
