ARLINGTON, Va.
The Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel has been awarded a Gold certification by the U.S. Green Building Council for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute.
LEED Gold certification of Renaissance Arlington Capital View was based on a number of green design and construction features, including a green roof, guest bike program, optimized energy performance, ozone protection, recyclable storage and collection, indoor air quality, on-site carbon dioxide monitoring, being 100 percent smoke free, and more.
Just one year old, the Renaissance Arlington Capital View joins Marriott International’s portfolio of 90 properties that are registered or certified LEED. The property features 300 rooms and more than 17,354 square feet of event space, including a 10,000-square-foot unobstructed ballroom.
