Waikiki Debuts Waterside Venue

HONOLULU

Waikiki is home to a new attraction that offers a venue for groups to hold an unforgettable party, reception or incentive program: a 10,000 square foot off-shore playground for visitors who enjoy the water. Moored about 300 yards offshore, Waikiki Ocean Club provides a wide array of ocean-related activities for both the active thrill-seeker and the sun-bathing pleasure-seeker.

Fifteen activities—including snorkeling, paddle boarding, helmet diving and kayaking—provide diversions that are designed to keep guests occupied for an entire day on the water. Trampolines, diving platforms, jet skiing and para-sailing are part of the activity mix that this recently–renovated vessel offers.

Capable of holding 388 passengers, Waikiki Ocean Club can offer its daily mix of water activities on an exclusive basis for groups or the staff can tailor the experience to any group’s needs. The latter can include arrangements for catering, entertainment, dancing or special activities on board.

Originally built in 1981 as the largest multi-hulled catamaran in the world at that time, the Waikiki Ocean Club has undergone a $1.8 million refurbishment that added amenities and upgraded the facility.
