The Liberty Hotel, which is gearing up to celebrate its fifth anniversary in September 2012, recently upgraded its meeting breaks.
Here are the hotel’s new offerings: Wine Tasting: Attendees will gain essential wine knowledge through the sampling of various regional selections. A carefully chosen selection of wines is complimented with assorted cheese, crackers and hors d’oeuvres.
Mixology: The Liberty Hotel’s expert mixologist will guide guests through the process of crafting specialty cocktails from the hotel’s seasonally-changing cocktail list. “Taste of Liberty."
Cooking Demonstration: Attendees will work side-by-side with Executive Chef Joseph Margate to prepare and enjoy a variety of dishes. Joseph Margate’s creative menu, which highlights exceptional Port Clyde shellfish and lobster, heirloom produce and artisan cheeses, artfully marries European culinary tradition with contemporary American innovation.
Relax, Rejuvenate, Transform: This personalized break package, offered in conjunction with a certified yoga instructor, leaves attendees ready to return to their meeting energized and refreshed.
The 298-room property, a national historic landmark built in 1851, was formerly the Charles Street Jail.
