has rated what it calls the top 10 convention centers around the country. Five are in the west, three are in the south, one is in the midwest while the other building is in the east.
Filling out the bottom of the list—from numbers seven to 10—are the Phoenix Convention Center, Moscone Center in San Francisco, the Anaheim Convention Center and the San Diego Convention Center. The western U.S. shows up again with, of course, the Las Vegas Convention Center, which placed third on the list.
In the south, numbers five and six, respectively, belong to the Dallas Convention Center and the Georgia World Congress Center. The region also made the cut with the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, which took the top slot.
Over in the east, D.C.’s Walter E. Washington Convention Center locked in the fourth spot, while a building in the middle of the country—McCormick Place in Chicago—won the number two position on the list.
