Following a recent renovation, the Hyatt Regency Atlanta is driving the food truck trend to groups.
When meeting planners buy the Food Trunk Lunch program at the 1,260-room property—which has finished a $65 million upgrade and features 180,000 square feet of meeting space—attendees can partake in local cuisine with dishes like Smoked Pork Arepas from the Wow Truck; Sesame Fries from Yumbii Food Truck; or Lamb Stew from Mobile Marleys.
Diners can savor some sweets for dessert with cupcakes from the Yum Yum Cupcake truck or gelato from the Honeysuckle Gelato Food Truck.
The hotel also will set the mood with décor including picnic tables, chairs and umbrellas. Meeting groups of all sizes can try the new Food Trunk Lunch program. Meeting groups booking at the hotel have the option to bring some of Atlanta’s best food trucks to the hotel for a change from traditional banquet fare.
Meeting Planners have the choice of nine area food trucks or just one truck for smaller groups. To indulge in the local Atlanta cuisine, groups having an event at the hotel can book a food truck 30 days prior to the event.
