AUSTIN, Texas
The Renaissance Austin Hotel, the centerpiece of the Arboretum at Great Hills, a shopping and dining destination, will enhance the area with a complete property renovation slated to begin in October.
New owners of the hotel have tapped designers to reinvent the 492 guest rooms and suites, public spaces, restaurants, bars, grand ballroom and meeting facilities, through a unique "Pure Austin" style.
"So much of Austin is about being outdoors and enjoying the best of nature, music, the arts and the people," said Rob Gillette, general manager of the hotel. "This extensive renovation will infuse the hotel with a distinct sense of place with a true Austin vibe and will offer a place for locals and visitors alike to discover the very best that the Renaissance Austin hotel offers."
The hotel features 70,000 square feet of meeting space and two pool areas.
